Thanks. I'll need to take a closer look. The kit came with an IT4 cable, so 9 pins at the motor, then splits to 2 brake switches, throttle, and 5 pin display.

Took a look at pswpower, and i think this kind of confirms, that their displays are compatible:
TSDZ8 TSDZ2B TONGSHENG EKD01 Bluetooth VLCD5 vlcd6 850C B02N VLCD13 VLCD10 XH18-LCD LCD Display for Electric Bicycle Mid Drive Motor

Unfortunately they don't carry separate displays in the USA warehouse, just tsdz2/8 kits.

Thanks, I saw that one too. It’s i miracle, but after over a week in customs, it’s finally moving, so it may actually ship and arrive if things go right/better.

Not sure, but doesn’t look like it. Crossing my fingers. I learned a little bit about Amazons policies, and how they indicate (or don’t) whether their vendors might be importers, etc. Bottom line seems to be you need to do your own checking to avoid being hit by fees after the fact, even when buying from Amazon.

I think that putting pressure on this issue on the official FB group can speed up the process.... How about it? Do you find a moment to write a question on the group regarding this? Let them feel our breath behind their back

I only see that he mentioned upgrade process and not user configuration, and actually motor firmware upgrade via Bluetooth from the display (DFL-11) is already possible. It is only signed firmware so no custom ones.

Niki or Perry once wrote that they don't work there BUT, they test for TSE their products before they go on sale, they have direct contact with TSE designers and engineers and that's a lot

In any case, the more Niki and Perry see configuration requests on the group, the more often they will mention it to TSE the next time they visit them

In previous posts I have seen that some of you had problem with osf vlcd5 display- showing battery only one level and motor not working. Did you find a solution to this problem?

I have tried to flash with 860c firmware and with 860c display motor works. Still would like to use cheaper vlcd5 display on my commuter bike.
